Higher

Hi everyone,

How are you? I haven't had much time to blog lately...been busy with a new CD, more responsibility at work and taking care of my family, but I would like to encourage you today with one word: higher. I have been thinking about this word a lot lately...it is the title to the new CD and this word exemplifies what I am doing in life. My goal in life is to go higher: to continue to grow in every aspect of my life, my releationships, my career, my finances and to keep moving forward in every way. I want to go higher in my relationship with God but also in my relationships with man. I want to see above and beyond what others see to have a new and wonderful perspective on life and to see possiblilities that others cannot yet imagine. I encourage you today to go higher in your life, in your relationships, in your dreams and aspirations and to help others to do the same! Take care and God bless!

Victory

Hi everyone,

Today's blog is about victory. How many times have you ever heard someone tell you that you could not accomplish something because you were too... (fill in the blank!) I began using this motto shortly thereafter "I can show you better than I can tell you!" I began using people's doubt in my abilities (and in God's faithfulness) to push me forward toward victoriously accomplishing my goals. In life you will have haters (people whose focus on your success is greater that the focus on their own)! Use these haters to make you greater! For those people reading this who have a relationship with Jesus Christ, always remember this verse: 1 John 4:4 {Dear children, you belong to God. So you have won the victory over these people, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (GW version)}. For those that don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ...today is never too late to ask Jesus to change your life! Thanks for your time and God bless!

Thankful

Hi everyone,

Today's blog is on the subject of thankfulness. Have you ever noticed that when people are truly thankful for what you do, you really want to do more for them? Being thankful is a key that helps open up doors for people. Many people don't understand this principle and tend to be rude, selfish and ungrateful. They also don't understand why people don't want to help them or give them their best. Thankfulness is an amazing attitude that is easily spread from one person to another one. I remember a story in the Bible that related the story of 10 lepers who were healed by Jesus (Luke 17:12-19) but only one of them came back to say thank you. In this story, Jesus told the one grateful man that his faith healed him. Thankfulness was one of the keys that helped to heal that man. I encourage you to be thankful in everything that you do and watch and see the results! Thanks for checking out my blog, have a great day and God bless!

Creativity

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you a little bit about creativity...creativity is the ability to share the gifts, talents and abilities that God has placed inside of you with the rest of the world. Whether it's a musical or artistic talents, the ability to do something exceptionally well or the ability to communicate effectively with others, creativity is a gift to be shared, not to be hidden. When you share your talents and abilities with others, you not only encourage them, many times, you encourage yourself! Have a great week and God bless!

Today is a new day...

Hi everyone,

I recently started blogging after being told that it's an excellent way to get people to check out your website. I don't know about that, but it is a good stress reliever (venting online, anyone???) Anyway, I would like to wish all of my future blog readers (and writers) a happy first Friday in April 2009. Take care and God bless!

March 27, 2009

Hi everyone,

Attending a publishing conference in Boston and I realize that I CAN DO THIS! There are so many creative people but we all need a push (or kick) in the right direction. Every person has a story...it is how the story is told that makes it unique. Everyone, keep writing and keep creating! Take care and God bless!
